Why we're doing this. The people who visited our site are the warmest audience the church has online. A month of gentle, capped follow-up keeps Christchurch a familiar name in their feed — how a first flicker of curiosity becomes a first Sunday. It also keeps the ad account active, which is what lifts the daily ceiling for the next big push.
How it went. A 1.3× average frequency across 698 clicks at about $0.14 each — a click-through rate several times a typical Facebook ad, which is what a tightly-local, well-matched audience delivers. Facebook quickly favored the anniversary story and put nearly all the budget behind it.

It rises with a clean billing history and completed business verification (both now in place). The small, steady retargeting spend is deliberate: it builds that history so the ceiling keeps climbing, and the bigger seasonal pushes — Christmas, Easter, the next anniversary — can actually spend when they matter most.
